Good News For Mumbai Electricity Consumers!!!

Friends,
It is yet another good knock out delivered to Reliance the thug company.

As per news clippings tariff increase in Mumbai has been postponed in three days of this message. Congratulations to consumers of Mumbai.

Now Mumbaikars can go for high court case to get the refund of loot over last 10 years with interest. They may also seek dismissal of Chairman MERC.

REL Rs.916 crores Profit 2004-5, Losses In 2006> Tariff Increase

Friendly,
It will shock you to discover that Mumbai consumers of BSES were charged up to Rs.5/- per unit as early as 1997 when generation cost of electricity was mere Rs.1 per unit and 500 MW Dahanu project served bulk of the demand of BSES Mumai consumers.

Last year end March2005 BSES (REL) declared profits before tax of Rs.916 crores even as it did under declare sale of electricity. But peak undeclared sle was well in excess 320 crore units per year.

Since people of Mumbai did not go to the High Court against the ongoing loot and recovery of Rs.10,000 crores loot over 7-8 years 1996- 2004 period, they are experiencing extortion yet again.

Any one filing PIL against recent tariff increase may serve HC notice to me, I shall uncover BSES loot.

LOOTEST TARIFF IN MUMBAI!!!

Friends,
It is difficult to imagine how BSES managed the "Lootest Tariffs" in March 1997 that are still comparable to most electricity boards after over 8 years.

You can't believe but is a fact that in March 97 BSES tariffs were nearly double of Delhi.

Considering that BSES has own generating capacity too and serve most valuable consumers in a compact area so tariff ought to be lowest.
