"My Angel"

I wonder what my guardian angel

does while I'm asleep!

Does she think about my daily deeds

and does that make her weep?

Does she cry because she knows

I just forgot to say my prayer?

And does she worry about me

as she sees me lying there?

She does so much to help me

I don't want to make her cry.

So I'll start this very moment,

in Gods word I will rely.

  'Cause He's the one who sent her

to protect me from all harm.

So to show appreciation

I will try to do no wrong.

 

I will try to love my neighbor

and I'll try hard to be kind.

I'll pray to God for peace and love

To fill my heart and mind.

 

And then my guardian angel

will know I've done my best.

and she will find contentment,

knowing God will do the rest
