INVITATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN STUDENT EDUCATIONAL DEMONSTRATION
Further to our previous announcement, we are pleased to advise that
arrangements have been finalized to organize the second edition of
IDEA's Annual Student Educational Demonstration.
This year's event will be held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hanif
Hassan, the UAE Minister of Education and in association with Abu
Dhabi University.
Dates: 15th and 16th December 2006, Friday and Saturday
Venue: Abu Dhabi University Campus, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi
Student Exhibition timings:
Day-1: 4:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Day-2: 3:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Opening Ceremony: 15th December at 4:00 p.m.
Award Presentation and Closing Ceremony: 16th December at 8:00 p.m.
Participation is FREE and open to students in Grades 7 to 12 of
Schools across the UAE.
This 2-day exhibition will provide the students a unique opportunity
and a prestigious platform to showcase their creativity and talents in
career focused fields of technology, engineering, medical science,
general streams and similar other fields of educational interest.
We invite you to enroll your children for participation in the event.
The last date for receipt of Entries is 16th November 2006.
Considering the wide publcity this event is attracting across the UAE,
you are encouraged to submit your children's entries as early as
possible because participation will be accepted on a first-come-first
basis.
You will be delighted to know that this year, we have introduced an
on-line registration system for submission of students' demonstration
project entries.

However, manual entry will also be accepted, for which please download

Awards will be presented in 3 categories: a. Best Innovative Theme, b.
Best Informative Demonstration and c. Best Presentation. 1st, 2nd,
3rd Position Winner Prizes and 2 Consolation Prizes will be awarded in
each of the three categories to all members of the winning student
teams.
