Really sad to know about it.
I am really sorry there is no way you can join 2 parts with matching sectors of CD. Even if u manage to join both pieces, CD rotates at a very very high speed inside the CD ROM Which will crack the CD & spoil CD ROM Drive too.
Even by chance, CD do not break, Laser head of a CD ROM will not be able to read such CD in which sectors are not matching.
Just think CD ROM sometimes don't read even if there is a small scratch on a working CD then how come it will read a broken one.
Always make sure to backup a disc somewhere on HDD.
