Re: //Dil Se Desi// Where do U think is this place?

Dear Sky DAncer
I am not sure if you are from Pakistan? WEll I think this building may be in Islamabad, there is absolutely no reason why it can't be there. Pakistan is also coming up in IT, has lot of potential, has lot of money and wooing investors to invest in Pakistan.
You are also true when you are saying that why we Indians can't be happy to realize this as a growth of our own sub continent.
But mending ways with Pakistan is next to impossible, till the time Pakistan stops grooming terrorists in its land who are killing Indians, Hindus and Muslims as well mercilessly. Every time we have a festival, security has to be tightened. PAki Govt has done nothing to curb these activities which means that tacitly they are supporting these anti India movements.
I would give a very small example, I have a Paki friend who is a classical singer. He wanted to organise a classical concert by bringing artistes from Pakistan, Shafqat, (son of Ustaad Salamat Ali Khan), Chaand Suraj (Sons of Ustaad Hussain Baksh Gullu). When he approached PAkistani Embassy for help, they asked what is it about. He said that he is organising an evening of INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC. Embassy said remove the word INDIAN. He said it is not possible as the name is INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC. I cant change the name of something and they refused to help him out.
WHat you expect? Be like GAndhijee, forward other cheek when somebody slaps on one. Agreed. But after second cheek bash him up so that next time he thinks many times before slapping.
We Indians are very much resilient that gives others a chance to tread on us.
JP

Well it's very sad to see that we Indians can't seem to accept that this building could possibly be coming up in Pakistan. Weather we like it or not it is, and it's a seven star hotel. It'll be in Islamabad.

If you have any doubts have a look at the following site:

Secondly, someone pointed out that you can see King Faisal Mosque in the second picture between the first & second tower - rightly so!!

Instead of going blue in the face denying it, we should be happy that the subcontinent is moving ahead.

We should get rid of this superiority complex, and try and work with our neighbours.  This mentality of divide and rule, brahmin and dalit only hurts us and no one else. I think it's high time we actually looked at what Gandhi jee taught us!!

Best Regards
