This is a closeup of an Oyster Toadfish, which generally inhabits the Atlantic coast of the US. They rely on camouflage in order to hunt, finding a nice spot to blend in and then lying in wait. The fleshy tabs below his jaw are designed to help him blend in, so when an unsuspecting prey walks by, WHAM! Though I can't imagine how anything could miss those big lips =) Hope this shot makes for a very unique background....
